Maggie DH worked out the baseline usage (running fridge, freezer, etc.) it is currently 3KW per day this will jump up when the biocycle is added and HRV is added, A wash in my machine is 2Kw per wash & this has given me a good base to work from

Today I :
Using flask for tea
Check lights and plugs
Cook on stove
Scraps to dogs
Start fire using Newspaper
Cooked doubler yesterday so today is just reheating dinner and boil some pasta
Turned thermostat on washing machine down to 30 which means no matter what wash I put on it will only heat the water to that.
Hung clothes to dry

Yesterday I met (& exceeded) my computer & TV goals. I did only one (nesessary) load of laundry, and kept lights off. I also turned the thermostat down.

Working harder today! You are doing great Jo!

I hope you do Jo Today I am trying a very low electricity day. If it's not essential...it's not on LOL. Trying it for 7-11 this am, then again from 12-4. I need to do something to reduce my useage!

My usage is up today (laundry and hot water for the floor) but at least I am aware of it.
Outside of that here is today list:
Bulk Bake and freeze for the week
Start fire using newspapers
Dry blankets/throws by fire
Check lights and plugs and make sure everything is turned off
Use flask for tea
Scraps to dogs

Tracking my usage I am reducing it - thankfully
